where musicians and their instruments
die together in perfect pitch and harmony.

through a countryside filled with trees
that stand as giants on the roadside,
protecting travelers in the shadow
of their leaves.

I would like to take a journey with you
to the water's edge of presence,
where God's light meets his creatures
on the lakes of Louisiana.
